Bicycling Bicyclists must ride on the right-hand side of the road. Bicyclists must signal before turning. Bicyclists must stop at stop signs and red lights. Children under 18 must wear a safety helmet. No one over 16 years of age may ride on sidewalks except where signs are posted allowing bicycles. Ygnacio Valley Road and Treat Boulevard are examples of streets where all bicyclists may use the sidewalk. Children under 16 years of age may ride bicycles on the sidewalks except in front of stores or buildings used for business purposes. When bicycling on sidewalks or trails, a bicyclist must warn a pedestrian of their intent to pass and must pass on the left side of the pedestrian. The maximum speed allowed for bicycling on trails is 25 mph.
Preferential Residential Permit Parking (PRPP) is a City program that allows residents of qualified neighborhoods to obtain special permits which exempt them and their guests from certain on-street parking time limits or prohibitions in their areas.
Buses WHEELS is a service of the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) and provides public transportation for the Tri-Valley communities of Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton, California.
With easy connections to San Francisco and the world via BART, the services offered to Tri-Valley residents and commuters are Fixed Route, DART Flex-Route, Dial-A-Ride Paratransit Service, Prime Time Commuter Express to Walnut Creek and the Silicon Valley, Shuttle Buses and Supplemental Service.
